The people to know

The Head Table

Every wedding has its anchors. These are ours.

The bride & the groom

Giovanna & Hugo

Watching the F1 at 6am on two hours of sleep, NFC subdermal implants, endless discussions on US-China relations. You all know the lore. Between a yappy first date that lasted until 2am and adopting a dog after three months in Hong Kong, we all knew a wedding date was coming.

Family first

The Parents

We literally wouldn’t be here today without them.

Mother of the Bride

Eleonora D'Incao

No, she’s not Gio’s sister! She can be found playing tennis, shopping at Harrods, listening to Beach House, and always being fabulous. It might be her daughter’s wedding, but Giovanna will always be baby to her. Ask her about Brazil, dating advice, and Giles: the answers get longer after two glasses of champagne. Mom, I might not be a lawyer or an AI engineer, but I work in a law firm and I’m getting married! Proper woman stuff.

Father of the Bride

Nick Demopoulos

The family’s American rock aficionado. Hugo passed his music lore Q&A on the first date. You’ll find him either blasting Black Sabbath while cycling, in Excel conducting in-depth financial analysis on new private equity investments, or eloping with his spectacular wife, Alexandra, after a chakra-clearing ceremony in the Sedona desert! There’s no in-between. Giovanna owes her looks, love of food, and good brains to him! Strong feelings about bread, chairs, and meditation. Excited to try as much cheese and dessert wine at the wedding as possible.

The Planner

Mother of the Groom · Wedding Planner

Sandra Dupont

Patience, resilience and hard work, wrapped in the warmest welcome in the Aveyron. Every friend who has ever stayed for dinner leaves saying the same thing: that is the best mum anyone could ask for. Through everything, she has only ever pushed for one outcome, that the people around her are happy and at peace. This weekend happens on her home turf, planned to the last napkin: nothing at Les Maisons d'en Face moves without her knowing first.

Father of the Groom

Thomas Dupont

The man who starts the party: first on the dance floor, master of the Irish exit once the night is won. He raised his children on two lessons, keep very good friends close, and know exactly when to slip away from them. Underneath all that fun sits one of the strongest, most resilient people a family could be built on: the kind of luck words cannot quite hold, now shared with Giovanna. At some point he will yell 'beep beep'. It is imperative you reply 'meuuu'. The Ferrari flag in his photos explains a lot about Hugo.

Maid of Honor

Natalie Demopoulos

Shy for about the first five minutes. Then, oh my goodness, who is that mysterious menace who’s come out to play? Gio’s biggest fan from day one, you’ll find Natalie making the best cake you’ve ever tried, begging to do Giovanna’s hair against her will, or denying accusations that she’s with Annabel. Her sister couldn’t be prouder of her. She’s nuts! For any question the FAQ cannot answer, she is your person and she replies fast.

Dude of Honor

Alex Demopoulos

Who has two thumbs and a passion for graphic design? This guy. Co-nerd, co-yapatron, co-cartoon fan. This not-so-little man will take longer to get ready than the bride, but he has one of the biggest hearts you will ever come across. Ask this kid about Fortnite, Minecraft, and the S&P 500 at your own peril. Alex, we love and support you. This is a safe space and you can tell us anything you want. You go, sweetie!

Point of Contact

Best Man

Lucas Sala

The right-hand man, the Italian stallion, and one of the most important people in Hugo’s life. Half of who Hugo is today was forged somewhere between their laughs and the frankly stupid plans they survived together. Lucas holds stronger opinions about Alexander the Great than most historians and will happily explain why yours are wrong. He also loves cleaning up after parties, especially once everyone else has gone home. If he disappears, check the stairs. He is probably tidying, philosophising, or becoming the final surviving member of the afterparty.

Best Woman

Marie Dupont

Hugo's little sister and the family's designated troublemaker: the kind of chaos that makes every party better and every quiet evening louder. Her caring has no off switch. It shows up in the big moments and the tiny ones, whether you asked or not, usually before you knew you needed it. Growing up beside her meant never being bored and never being alone. One day she will take over the world, and frankly it will run better. Until then, approach with snacks.
